1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using FeatureBoard ("the Service"), operated by FeatureBoard ("we", "us", or "our") at featureboard.io, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
FeatureBoard is a product feature tracking platform that provides a single source of truth for product features across Engineering, Go-to-Market, and Customer Success teams. The Service enables teams to track feature status, manage launch readiness, and maintain cross-functional alignment throughout the product development lifecycle.
3. Beta and Waitlist Terms
FeatureBoard is currently in a pre-launch phase. By joining our waitlist, you acknowledge that:
- The Service is under active development and features may change, be added, or be removed before and after launch.
- Beta access does not guarantee availability of any specific feature or functionality.
- We may limit, suspend, or modify beta features at our discretion.
- During the beta period, the Service may experience downtime, bugs, or data inconsistencies. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate known issues.
4. Founding Customer Pricing
Our Founding Customer offer is available to early adopters who sign up during the pre-launch period. The terms of this offer are:
- Price — $49 per month per team.
- Price lock — your monthly rate is locked in for 12 months from your subscription start date, regardless of subsequent price changes.
- Availability — limited to the first 10 founding customers. Once all spots are filled, the offer closes.
- Features — founding customers receive access to all features included in the plan at launch and any features added during the price-lock period.
5. Payment Terms
Payments for the Service are processed through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete billing information to Stripe. We do not store your credit card details on our servers.
- Authorize recurring monthly charges at the agreed-upon rate until you cancel your subscription.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each billing cycle. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 14 days of a charge to request a review.
Your use of Stripe is subject to Stripe's Terms of Service.
6. User Responsibilities
When using the Service, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information when registering or joining the waitlist.
- Maintain the security of your account credentials and promptly notify us of any unauthorized access.
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
- Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, interfere with its operation, or reverse-engineer its functionality.
- Not use the Service to transmit malicious software, spam, or any content that violates applicable laws.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, features, documentation, and branding, is the intellectual property of FeatureBoard and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our prior written consent.
Your data belongs to you. Any content, feature data, or information you enter into the Service remains your property. We claim no ownership rights over your data. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FeatureBoard and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. If you have not paid us anything, our maximum liability shall be $100.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement at any time with 30 days written notice. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access immediately if:
- You violate these Terms of Service.
- Your use of the Service poses a security risk or adversely affects other users.
- Required by law or regulation.
Upon termination, you may request an export of your data within 30 days. After this period, we may delete your data in accordance with our data retention policies.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and provide at least 30 days notice before significant changes take effect. Notice may be given via email to the address associated with your account or by a prominent notice on our website. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions of these Terms remain in full force and effect.
